Location

The hiking route offers the chance to circumnavigate the wondrous Annapurna massif. Trekkers usually begin at Besi Sahar and complete their hike at one of the villages after passing through the spectacular mountains of Annapurna, Gangapurna as well as the Annapurna II. The distance that this trek covers is about 248 km, and the Thorang La Pass, which is about 17,750 ft, is the highest elevation that can be reached during the the Annapurna Circuit.

Timeframe

It usually takes 15-21 days to complete the entire circuit, so 3 weeks would be an ideal period to plan for a complete hiking trip allowing for possible side trips, rest, as well as possible delays that might arise.

Sights

The circuit has no dearth of astounding sights. The combination of the Kathmandu foothills, as well as the high Himalayan peaks are the sort of variance and beauty that this trek offers.
